The Instant HDTV PCI is an add-in PCI card TV tuner/video capture device that turns a standard Windows XP computer into a full-featured HDTV receiver with video recorder capabilities. The board is also equipped with a tuner for standard and cable TV broadcasts.
Users can archive TV shows to a CD or DVD or perform video recording from camcorders or VCRs. Included with the board are a remote control, an IR sensor, and audio/video cables, along with SnapStream Beyond TV Express software, which enables users to pause, fast-forward, and rewind live TV.
