PCIe RS-422/485 card is optically isolated

The 7203e PCI Express serial interface card provides two optically isolated serial ports, each individually configurable for RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485. Each port has a 128-byte Tx/Rx FIFOs and can handle data rates to 460.8 Kbits/s.

 The board's 16C952 UART has 9-bit framing support and derives a 62.5 MHz clock from the PCI Express link. In RS-485 mode the network termination can be selectively added via DIP-switches. The card is available noe for $379 and includes software for Windows and Linux.
