PCIe, SATA xceivers feature low jitter

The DS50PCI401 quad transceiver handles PCI Express Gen1 (2.5 Gbits/s) and Gen2 (5 Gbits/s), while the DS64BR401 quad transceiver supports both 3- and 6-Gbit/s SATA/SAS specifications, along with XAUI, serial sRIO and Fibre Channel. The DS50PCI401 features what is said to be the industry’s lowest jitter, at less than 0.10 UI of residual jitter at the equalizer output, and lowest power, at 190 mW typ per lane.

The DS64BR401 equalizes up to 10 m of SATA/SAS cable or 40 in. of FR-4 at up to 6.4 Gbits/s, with less than 0.25 UI of residual jitter at the equalizer output, and takes 200 mW typ per lane.
