PCIe-to-fiber adapter sends data 300 m

The OSS-PCIe-FCA-x4 PCI Express-to-fiber cable adapter enables high-speed data transfers up to 300 m with immunity to EMI and crosstalk. The 5 x 3.2 x 1.2-in. module’s front-panel MTP/MPO ribbon fiber connector has 12 fiber links.

The rear panel of the module has a connection to a standard PCIe x4 cable. The module takes 1.75 W from an ac adapter. ($985 — available now.)
