PCIM Europe 2014 – 3 days of power electronics

From May 20 to 22 about 400 companies will be exhibiting their latest products and services at PCIM Europe 2014 in Nuremberg. Visitors to the event can expect a comprehensive market overview of the power electronics, intelligent motion, renewable energy and energy management sectors. For the first time, PCIM Europe will occupy an area of 20,000 m2 over three exhibition halls, and 18% of the exhibitors will be exhibiting at PCIM Europe for the first time.

The international significance of PCIM Europe is reflected in 51% of exhibitors coming from abroad. Twenty-nine countries are represented; and after Germany, the largest foreign contingents are from the USA, China, Italy and France.

Program events

 At the industry forum in hall 6, lectures, specialist discussions, project presentations and market overviews will be delivered by trade associations, and companies. The exhibitor forum in hall 9 will give visitors access to extensive information on the latest developments and innovations via more than 50 presentations.

The concurrent conference is the key meeting place for experts from science and industry. A practice oriented exchange between the developers and users of power electronics technologies stands at the heart of the more than 220 presentations, three keynote speeches, six seminars and 10 tutorials on offer.

ECPE Joint Stand

One of the highlights of the event is the ECPE (European Network for Power Electronics) stand, combines with the universities and research institutes to exhibit activities in the field of power electronics. On ECPE Student Day interested students can gain insight into areas of application, the latest technology trends and career perspectives in the power electronics field.
