Peak-detecting sensor suits two-wire apps

The ATS682LSH peak-detecting sensor provides a user-friendly solution for true zero-speed digital geartooth sensing in two-wire applications. The IC incorporates a dual-element Hall-effect sensor and signal processing that switches in response to differential magnetic signals created by a ferrous target.

Features include automatic gain control for air gap independent switchpoints, automatic offset adjustment for signal processing optimization, running-mode calibration for continuous optimization, and undervoltage lockout. The part is offered in a 4-pin SIP module and operates over –40° to 150°C. ($2.23 ea/1,000 — 14 to 16 weeks ARO.)
