PHY drives 10GBASE-T over Cat-6 cable

The Alaska X 88X3240P quad-port standards compliant 10GBASE-T Ethernet PHY handles 10 Gbit/s data over unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable with significant cost savings over optical alternatives. The chip supports Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE), MACSec, 1588 PTP, and has dual media support. It requires only 1.5 W/channel when driving a 10 m cable.
