Polycase has added a new size to its DC Series of heavy-duty plastic enclosures for electronic systems. The DC-57 enclosure — measuring 8.25 x 5.0 x 1.5 in. — has been developed for applications that require a low profile.
It’s molded from black ABS plastic with a UL94-5VA flame rating. And the DC-57 enclosures are available with or without being molded on surface-mounting flanges. Other features include bass inserts, PCB mounting bosses, choice of textured or smooth cover, an optional internal panel accessory, and an optional gasket.
Polycase also offers customization services, including custom CNC machining and digital printing on the DC-57 enclosures. These new plastic enclosures can be purchased from the Polycase website.
