Plastic-shell connector
has reliable design
The 405 Series plastic-shell connector is designed to intermate with
the company's metal-shell connectors. Offered with from 2 to 27 contacts,
the plastic connector has an inherently insulated design that provides
shock protection and electrical isolation. Coaxial and high-voltage configurations
are also available.
Rated for over 5,000 mating cycles, the lightweight connector resists
chemicals and withstands temperatures to 200°C. It is available with
a choice of accessories, including cable strain reliefs, sealing covers
for plugs and receptacles, and crimp contacts. ($40 to $70 per mated pair–4
to 6 weeks ARO.)
