Platinum sensors come in many styles
EL-100/200/700 series platinum temperature sensors closely monitor and
control industrial equipment at temperatures ranging from -320 degrees to
1,000 degreesF. the fully assembled sensors can be shipped ready-to-use
directly or in armored probe assemblies, thereby eliminate the need for
delicate splices to the extension leads. EL-100 and 200 series sensors
employ fine platinum wire wound on high-purity alumina ceramic and are
trimmed to precise tolerance at ice point. In the EL-100, and outer
ceramic tube armors the assembly, while in the EL-200 a stainless steel
tube covers the ceramic tube for added sheath density and protection. The
