PLL operates up to 110 MHz,consumes < 100 mW

The 13-GHz ADF4159 PLL synthesizer is offered as the industry’s highest performance device of its kind. It consists of a low noise digital phase frequency detector, a precision charge pump, and a programmable reference divider. The phase detector operates up to 110 MHz and consumes less than 100 mW of power, which is 5 times less than competitive solutions.

It contains a 25-bit fixed modulus, allowing subhertz resolution at 13 GHz. Housed in a 4 X 4 mm 24-LFCSP, the part features a phase noise figure of merit of –222 dBc/Hz and on chip FMCW ramp generation.($7.49 ea/1,000 — samples now, prod qty 4th qtr)
