Plugs, sockets support USB 3.1, Type C

With the smallest footprints of all USB interconnects, Keystone USB 3.1, Type C interconnects deliver significant PCB real estate reductions to accommodate a variety of devices.  They support USB-1 standards with 10-Gb/s top speed and up to 20-V, 3-A output. Bi-directional power suits the connectors for use with future high-tech devices.

For circuit board socket use, USB-C receptacle (Cat. No. 953) offers a hybrid mount configuration aiding SMT contact efficiency with strong, durable solder connections to PCBs with thru-hole mounted devices. For standard or custom USB-C cable assemblies, a Type C plug kit (Cat. No. 954), supplied unassembled with a metal housing ensuring excellent strain relief, is also available.
