The LM25066 system monitoring, protection and control IC offers on-chip PMBus support. It suits blade servers, storage networking systems, routers/switches, and modular subsystems, as well as improves system reliability in datacenters.
The monitoring and protection chip features a voltage input range of 2.9 to 17 V and a selectable 25- or 50-mV current-limit threshold. It measures both current and voltage at 1,000 times/s with a current measurement accuracy of 3% over the temperature range of –40° to 125°C. A temperature monitoring block interfaces with an external diode for monitoring the temperature of the external MOSFET. ($5.95 ea/1,000 — available now.)
