PMC card provides network security

The PMC-110 CryptoNet Security PMC rugged embedded security module provides a firewall, intrusion detection, Network Address Translation, IPSec, and hardware-enabled cryptographic engines. The mezzanine module is available in air-cooled and conduction-cooled versions.

The card is powered by a 667-MHz MPC8555E PowerQUICC III processor with 256 Mbytes of DDR1 with ECC RAM, a 256-Mbyte boot flash, dual 10/100/1,000 Gigabit Ethernet ports, an RS-232 port, a COP interface, an I2 C interface, and a 64-bit 66-MHz PCI bus. The module can be used to secure a data storage network, or protect against hostile attacks including IP spoofing, denial of service, and Trojan horses. It can also perform authentication using MD5 and SHA. (From $2,518available now.)
