The SMB119 programmable power manager integrates three synchronous step-down converters, two step-up converters, one configurable step-up or step-down converter, and one LDO linear regulator, and several digital power control functions. It uses a PC-based GUI to digitally program the multiple outputs and power management functions, and is suitable for portable electronics.
The power manager includes is a programmable system supervisor that monitors all channels for under-voltage and over-voltage events. It operates at a 1-MHz switching frequency, has a power conversion efficiency of 95%. The device operates from 2.7 to 6.0-V input and has an operating temperature range of 0° to 70°C or –40° to 85°C.
