PMUs are now compatible with 5-V input

The AT73C237 power management unit (PMU) is compatible with a 5-V input supply and generates four regulated output voltages, with output current up to 70 mA.

The device integrates four LDO regulators: three are programmable from 1.2 to 2.75 V, and one 1.8-V regulator for backup battery and capacitor recharging. It integrates a two-wire interface and allows a microcontroller to program the variable LDO output voltages. ($1.65 ea/100,000 — available now.)
