The YEV series of POL dc/dc converters offers 3-, 6-, 10-, and 20-A vertically mounted products provide 94% efficiency power conversion for communications and server applications. The converter series has input ranges from 4.5 to 13.8 V, with user-defined 0.6 to 5.1-V outputs.
The converter series can start up in a prebiased loads, has no minimum-load operation, and has an ambient-temperature operating range from 0 to 70C. The 3-, 6-, and 10-A devices have a 0.65-in. height and a 0.41 x 0.40-in. SIP footprint. The 20-A device has a 0.61-in. height and a 1.45 x 0.34-in. footprint.
