POL converters sized for space-critical apps
Three high-current POL converters are 40-, 50-, and 60-A non-isolated dc/dc converters that use multiphase-synchronous-buck topologies to deliver up to 93% efficiencies in high-power-density packages designed for space-critical blade server and communications applications.
The converters provide a 5- to 13.8-V input-range and 0.6- to 3.6-V user-defined outputs. Thermal-management techniques facilitate a 0° to 70°C operating range. The 40-A horizontal-mount YH09T40 has a 1.45- x 1.115-in footprint and a 0.5-in. height. The 50-A vertical-mount YV09T50 has a 1.45 x 0.725-in. SIP footprint and a 1.115-in. height.
