The PMR5000 (50-A) and PMR8000 (40-A) power modules are interoperable and based on the POL alliance platform. They suit power management for microprocessor and memory storage, servers, data storage, high-capacity memory cards, solid-state drives, ATCA, and POL-powering low-voltage high-current applications.
The devices have 96% efficiency. The PMR5000 provides 4.5 to 14-V input-voltage range and an output voltage from 0.7 to 3.6 V while the PMR8000 has an input from 8 to 14 V with an output from 3.0 to 5.25 V. Both models provide output overcurrent protection (nonlatching, auto reset), and adjustable undervoltage lockout. Other features include prebias startup, autotrack sequencing, and multiphase switch-mode topology. ($30 ea/large qty — available now.)
