Poly alum caps offer high-frequency stability

The ECAS series polymer aluminum capacitors offer low impedance and high stability at frequencies up to 500 KHz and in temperatures of –40° to 105°C. The capacitors are housed in a resin-molded structure that uses multilater aluminum foil for the anode and solid conductive polymer for the cathode.

The RoHS-compliant devices are available in a 7.3 x 4.3-mm case size and three different thickness options, and the surface-mount design is solderable by traditional reflow methods. (Samples, $0.35 to $1.60 — stock to 6 weeks ARO.)
