Polymer capacitors handle 125°C, up to 500 V

The type CS (106K100CS4) multilayered polymer capacitors are excellent for 125°C ROHS-compliant applications. They come in values from 2.0 to 10.0 µF with voltage ratings of 50, 100, 250, 400, and 500 Vdc, and current ratings up to 18 A rms.

The capacitors are great alternatives to ceramics, with improved ruggedness, dissipation factor, and stability, along with no piezoelectric effect. They operate over -55° to +125°C, their ESR ranges from 2.5 to 12 mΩ, and their dissipation factor is ≤1.0% at 1 kHz. The devices' 6 to 16-lead packages are 0.435 to 1.150 in. long.
