Polymer electrode capacitor has 55-mΩ ESR

The TCN PulseCap series solid tantalum SMT capacitor features a polymer electrode for reduced ignition and low ESR. The device comes in a single case size 4 (0.287 0.240 x 0.079 in.) and in single value of 1,500 µF (TCN4158M006) with a 6.3-V rated voltage, for the time being.

The capacitor has undertab terminations and operates from -55º to +85ºC with just 55-mΩ ESR. The series has a ±20% capacitance tolerance and 0.1 CV dc leakage current, and is suitable for 3x reflow solder processing at 260°C.
