The Digital Instant Mobile Photo Printer is a Bluetooth- and USB-enabled portable printer roughly the size of a deck of cards. Using “Zero Ink” printing technology, the device creates borderless 2 x 3-in. full-color digital photos without ink cartridges or ribbons.
The device’s patented ZINK (Zero Ink) paper is a composite material with embedded yellow, magenta and cyan dye crystals. The printer activates the material with 200 million heat pulses in a single 30-s pass. The paper has 100 billion crystals in a 2 x 3-in. print, and is eco-friendly.
