Portable meter checks glass’s light xmission
Designed for field or lab measurement of light transmission through glass with or without reflective coating, the LCRT-2005-S handheld spectrophotometer consists of a uniform light source to be placed on one side of the glass, a receiver to be placed on the other, and a controller to run tests and present results. The compact configuration is identical to the CIE 130 and DIN 5036 setup.
The source has a large-diameter luminance area and uses an ODM98 sphere coating and white LED to ensure long life. The detector has a 0.4° viewing angle to accept only in-line transmitted light, and a built-in CCD camera for receiver-source alignment. A stand for stationary use is available optionally. ($7,700 — available 4 weeks ARO.)
