Measuring 32 (L) x 40 (W) x 3.7 (H) mm, the EVC series MLCCs have been developed specifically for power applications such as hybrid electric vehicles. Capacitance is 12 µF at 400 Vdc, allowable ripple current is 20 A at 20 kHz, and dielectric withstanding voltage is 750 V.
The capacitors are constructed with a proprietary ceramic material to enable large capacitance under dc bias and high allowable ripple current. Maximum operating temperature is 125°C. ($35 ea/10,000 per month — 10 to 12 weeks ARO.)
