The VPTPCM-12 preconditioning power module works within a dc/dc power system to suppress transient voltages and create a reliable power output of up to 120 W. The module offers a high-reliability COTS power solution designed for rugged military and avionics applications.
The 8 to 40-V steady-state input range ensures power system protection as required by MIL-STD-1275 for vehicles and MIL-STD-704 for avionics. It has an input range from 12 to 28 V, efficiency to 99%, and transient suppression to 600 Vdc. The operation range extends from -55 to 100C with no power derating.
