Power resistor dissipates 100 W

The TR100 power resistor offers 100-W power dissipation at 25°C in a TO 247 package size, suiting power-system designs that already use a heat sink for their power ICs. The heat-sink-mountable resistors measure 15.75 (W) x 20.7 (H) mm, are less than 5 mm thick, and offer lead spacing of 10.16 mm.

RoHS compliant, the resistor is offered in values from 1 Ω to 10 kΩ, tolerances as low as 0.5%, and TCRs down to 50 ppm. Applications include instrumentation, metering, and avionics. ($5 to $6.50 — available now.)
