Power solid state relay provides 5-kV of input to output isolation voltage

The CPC1907B is a single-pole, normally open (1-Form-A) solid state relay that employs optically coupled MOSFET technology to provide 5,000 Vrms of input to output isolation. The part handles load currents up to ±6 A_DC or 6 Arms. Applications include motor controls, UPS, power supplies, lighting,valve and solenoid controls, security door and gate latches, medical equipment, home appliances, home automation, aerospace, and HVAC controls.

Blocking voltage is 60 V and on-resistance is 0.06 Ω. The part is offered in the an 8-pin Power SOIC package. In addition, 12.5 mm of external creepage distance can be achieved with the appropriate printed circuit board layout. (Contact company for pricing and availability)
