The D92 through D98 series of small 2-, 4-, 6-, and 8-pole fixed-frequency, precision analog filters provide high-performance linear active filtering in a compact package, with a broad range of corner frequencies and a choice of Butterworth or Bessel transfer functions. These filters are designed to work with up to 16-bit A/D converters. These fully self-contained units require no external components or adjustments.
Each device comes factory tuned to a user-specified corner frequency between 1 Hz and 400 kHz and operate with less than –100 dB of total harmonic distortion over a ±5-V dynamic voltage range from non-critical single +5 to +18 Vdc power supply. Each filter has a built in internal +6 and -6 Vdc power supplies to power the filter so no negative power supply is needed. The filters are available in differential or single ended inputs and outputs with ac or dc coupling and has an offset input that will place the output of the filter in the center of the A/D converter input range.
