With accuracies to 0.1%, the $992 Model Z8900 benchtop LCR meter can measure C+R, C+D, L+R, L+Q, R+Q, or Z+Θ. It tests at test frequencies of 0.100, 0.120, 1 or 10 kHz; drive voltages of 0.1, 0.3, or 1.0 V; and rates to 12 measurements/s.

The meter has a parts-handler interface and an RS-232 interface for remote operation, and its comparator can sort parts by value and tolerance. A five-digit LCD shows absolute, ∆, and ∆% values and lets users select triggering (automatic or manual) and perform short and open calibration.
