For applications, such as impedance tubes, that require full audible range in confined spaces, the Model 377A13 pressure-response type microphone works over a range of 4 Hz to 20 kHz. The prepolarized, 1/2-in.-diameter mic is designed to provide matching magnitude and phase at any position to properly measure changes caused by mic presence in the sound field.
Operating from −40º to 120ºC, the sensor has a linear dynamic range of 160 dB max with a noise floor of 20 dBA. The prepolarized design is powered using a 2 to 20-mA signal conditioner and standard coaxial cables, and can work from the same constant-current source as ICP accelerometers.
