The ST33G1M2 secure processor targets NFC Universal Integrated Circuit Card and other secure data applications, including mobile-phone NFC. The IC has an asynchronous transceiver supporting ISO/IEC 7816-3 protocols, hardware-accelerated AES encryption, improved EDES+ acceleration supporting 3-key triple DES security, and support for the complete MIFARE portfolio for smartcards
The ARM SecurCore SC300 Cortex-M3 based device comes in wafer, DFN8, or WLCSP packages, and has SPI and Single-Wire Protocol interfaces. It has 30 Kbytes of user RAM and up to 1,280 Kbytes of user flash with an OTP area. The IC operates over -25 to +85°C using a 1.8, 3.0, or 5 V supply and has ESD protection greater than 4 kV (HBM).
