The CX20805 dual-core 32-bit high-performance digital audio signal processor has 520 Kbytes of SRAM and 352 Kbytes of ROM with separate X and Y data and P code memory spaces. It supports quad digital microphones with pulse density modulation and has an AES 128 decryption engine, and High Speed USB 2.0 with up to eight endpoints.
The chip also features full duplex stereo I2S/PCM, SPDIF transmitter and receivers, I2C, and SPI interfaces. The 116 pin dual-row QFN packaged IC runs at 200 MHz, yielding 800 MIPS. Audio sampling rates ranging from 8 to 96 kHz are generated directly from the chips master clock. ($5.50 ea/10,000 – samples March.)
