Program eases design
of auto-transformers
The Rale Small Transformer Program offers the ability to design and
test auto-transformers. To generate a design, the user downloads software
from the Rale Web site and enters the initial design parameters offline.
The user returns online to run the program, to perform parametric testing
on the completed design, and to modify design constraints. Customers are
charged for their time online. A typical 24-hour contract allows for completion
of approximately 240 to 360 designs. (24-hour package, $1,200–available
now.)
