Programmable converter suits industrial apps
The OKI-T/3-W32 series of surface-mount PoL dc/dc converters target +12 or +24 Vdc industrial applications where a wide input range within a standard package is needed. The series accommodates an input voltage range from +9 to +32 Vdc. The converters suit high-voltage applications that require a low voltage source to power FPGAs and microprocessors. The modules offer a typical efficiency of 89%, are compatible with the DOSA package specifications, and measure 0.47 x 0.82 x 0.34 in.
The non-isolated converter series offers a 3-A programmable output voltage that can be set from 0.75 to 4.5 Vdc. Power output at 4.5 VOUT is 13.5 W. A remote on/off input, using either a positive or negative source, allows the output to be controlled or sequenced for multiple input voltage sources. The module provides protection for under-voltage lock out, output short circuit, over current and over temperature. It can drive up to 1,000-µF ceramic capacitive loads.
