Programmable modules yield accurate analog

The D3000M series of Modbus-compatible smart modules combine a 12-bit D/A converter with programmable analog output control features and communicate via a RS-232-C/485 link. The series has 16 models: voltage (0 to 1 V, ± 1 V, 0 to 5 V, ±5 V, 0 to 10 V, ±10 Vdc), current (0 to 20 mA, 4 to 20 mA).

Output slopes are programmable from 0.01 V/s (mA/s) to 10,000 V/s (mA/s), Input-to-output isolation is 500 Vrms, update rate is 1,000 conversions/s, and accuracies are 0.1% of FS. ($275 — stock to 4 weeks ARO.)
