Programmer works with PIC development tools
The ProMate II is a dedicated development programmer for PIC17 8-bit
microcontrollers. It programs on-chip OTP memory, enhanced flash memory,
and EE-PROM on the various PIC models.
The programmer is used in conjunction with PICmaster development tools,
which include an in-circuit emulator and Windows 3.1-based development
software. (PICmaster with ProMate II, $3,395; probe kits, $425 each–available
now.)
