The ASICmaker device programmer programs GateField programmable logic
under the control of ASICmaster software on Hewlett-Packard and Sun hosts.
The software accepts standard ASIC formatted netlists, performs place-and-route
into the selected device, and provides back-annotated delay information
for simulation.
The ProASIC Starter Kit includes ASICmaster Basic, the ASICmaker programmer
with a 391 ceramic PGA module, one GF250F050C391C-4 FPGA, and design kits
for all family members. The Starter Kit includes all the tools needed to
implement a 50,000-gate design in a ProASIC device. (ASICmaker, box and
