Protection devices shield motors, transformers

The PolySwitch LVR Series of resettable circuit-protection devices protect electric motors and transformers from overcurrent and overtemperature damage. The series includes parts rated for line voltages of 120 and 240 Vac at up to 2 A (20C).

The devices do not require replacement after a fault event: after the overcurrent condition is eliminated and power has been removed, the circuit is restored to normal operating condition. ($0.254 to $0.450—8 to 10 weeks ARO.)
