The HeaterPill PTC ceramic heater provides instant heat within seconds of turning on a cold car, making heated-seat designs cost-effective for medium and small-sized cars where it would otherwise be cost-prohibitive.
The PTC heater pill is mounted in a finned metal holder that heats up and warms air moved over its surface. As a cold-start booster to the main heating system, the ceramic heater can quickly generate heated air and then shut down once the main heater has reached temperature.
