Pushbutton locking technology changes the face of industrial connectors
The Han-Yellock connector series represents a breakthrough in industrial connector technology and aesthetics, combining a sleek design with a host of functions not previously available in standard connectors of its kind. The most prominent feature of the series is the bright yellow pushbutton, part of a patented internal locking technology unlike the typical lever design used for latching and unlatching rectangular connectors. With a simple 90° turn, the connector is secured with both audible and visible locking without any tools.
These connectors allow up to 25 coding possibilities, offer fingerproof inserts with snap-in functionality, and also feature prewired modules that can be installed into the connector body from the mating or termination side without fixing screws. It is also nearly impossible to mis-wire them, which provides a significant cost and time savings during the installation process.
The robust connectors are IP67 rated and have a single-gender crimp contact design, eliminating the need for inventory and processing of male and female contacts. These connectors are also extremely versatile, available in multiple sizes that can incorporate up to 30 20-A connections within a single connector.
