PXI controllers handle LXI, GPIB, USB too

The Pentium-based PXI-3920 and Celeron-based PXI-3910 3U PXI controllers are designed for hybrid benchtop/card-rack testing systems. The rugged controllers can control LXI, GPIB, USB, and serial bus instruments as well as PXI cards.

The units have dual Gigabit Ethernet ports (one for LAN connectivity, the other for deterministic communication with LXI instruments), a GPIB port, four USB 2.0 ports, and two serial ports. Cable-free mechanical construction, soldered CPU and memory chips, and a solid-state disk drive let the cards withstand 6 Grms during operation.
