PXI controllers provide multicore performance

The NI 8352 and NI 8353 rack-mount controllers — based on Intel Core 2 dual-core and quad-core processors, respectively — offer server-class performance for use in PXI- and PXIe-based systems. Bundled with an MXI-Express kit, controllers can achieve sustainable I/O bandwidth of up to 832 Mbytes/s.

In standard configuration, the controllers come with Windows XP and 250-Gbyte X2 (8352) or X4 (8353) RAID 0/1 SATA II disk control capability. A LabVIEW Real-Time version of the 8353 is also available, with X1 SATA II (non-RAID) capability. (8352, from $3,499; 8353, from $4,499; 8353 RT, from $3,999 — available now.)
