The 3U-high PXI-4130 programmable power SMU and the PXI-2535 and 2536 ultrahigh-density switching matrix modules add new capabilities to PXI systems, suiting them for such applications as IC parametric tests and device validation.
With five current ranges and 1-nA resolution, the SMU features an isolated four-quadrant ±20-V-output channel with remote four-wire sense that can source up to 40 W in quadrants I and III and sink up to 10 W in II and IV. The one-slot switching modules, with 544 crosspoints as either a 4 x 136 or 8 x 68 one-wire matrix, use FETs to provide switching speeds to 50,000 crosspoints/s, unbounded simultaneous connections, and unlimited mechanical life. (SMU, from $2,499; switches, from $2,999 — available now.)
