QFP socket suits high-speed TQFP ICs

Designed for 0.4-mm-pitch 144-pin QFPs, the SG-QFE-7007 socket fits 16 x 16 x 1.2-mm packages with 18 x 18-mm leads tip to tip. The socket operates at bandwidths up to 10 GHz with less than 1 dB of insertion loss, with typical contact resistance of 20 mΩ per I/O.

The no-solder socket also has a swivel lid with compression screw, a floating compression plate to force down the QFP leads, and a hard-stop feature in the compression mechanism. Pin self-inductance is 0.15 nH, mutual inductance is 0.025 nH, capacitance to ground is 0.01 pF, current capacity is 2 A per pin, and operating temperatures are –35° to 100°C.
