The Quadro K5000M is top model in the latest NVIDIA mobile GPU chip product line and targets acceleration of professional applications. The chip has 1344 CUDA parallel processor cores, a 256-bit wide memory interface, 96 Gbyte/s memory bandwidth, and accesses 4 Gbytes of GDDR5 memory. Five lower core count ,lower power, versions are available.
The chips parallel DataCache supports a true cache hierarchy combined with on-chip shared memory. L1 and L2 caches drive exceptional throughput, accelerating features such as real-time ray tracing and texture filtering. The device takes 100 W max. TGP and has a Display Port 1.2 interface. It also features fast transfer and manipulation of 3D textures and hardware 3D window clipping that enables accelerated clip regions for faster data transfer between a window and the frame buffer. The Quadro K5000M chip is based on the new Kepler GPU architecture. (Price not given – available now.)
