Rack instrument unites JTAG, functional test

The DataBlaster JT 37×7 rack-mounted instrument (RMI) lets users combine boundary-scan test with functional validation. The RMI supports all boundary-scan test applications, including IEEE 1149.6 advanced digital network testing, as well as in-system programming (ISP) of flash memory and programmable logic.

The 19-in. x 1U unit’s front panel has four fully compliant boundary-scan test access ports (TAPs) as well as 256 individually programmable I/Os; TAPs can be combined for test purposes or ganged for high-throughput testing and ISP, and extended via flat cables for special test fixtures. Interfaces are Ethernet 10/100, USB 2.0, and IEEE 1394. (From $6,500 — available now.)
