The BCH 65-3U/19M series constant current/constant voltage power supplies and battery chargers suit industrial environments. These 300–W units operate in constant-current mode while the battery is charging and resume constant-voltage/float mode when the battery is fully charged. A built-in redundancy diode prevents battery discharge back into the charger if the ac is disconnected or collapses.
The supply output is adjustable by a trim pot located on the front panel. Single-output float-voltage options include 13.8, 27.6, 55.2, or 138 Vdc. It operates from a jumper-selectable, 115-Vac or 230-Vac input. It is convection cooled and rated for operation over 0° to 50°C. ($477 ea/4 — available now.)
