Radio test sets support Hytera DMR

Viavi has added new automated test and alignment (Auto-Test) software applications to its 3920B Radio Test Platform  and 8800SX Digital Radio Test Set  offerings to support Hytera  digital mobile radio (DMR) radios and repeaters. The new functionality has been added to the Hytera DMR Series Auto-Test applications for Hytera MD65x, MD8xx, PD5xx UHF3, and PD9xx series radios. The Hytera DMR Repeater Auto-Test application supports Hytera RD62x, RD96x, and RD98x repeaters on both radio test sets.

Auto-Test applications provide fully automated test and alignment of mobile and portable radios and repeaters without user interaction. The test sets ensure that the test and alignment routines are performed to manufacturer-recommended specifications and industry standards. This ensures consistent and repeatable results, proper interoperability, and optimal radio and network performance, said Viavi.
