Some must see shows where you will see a lot of electronic components and new technologies are taking place within the next two months. It seems like there is a lot going on for the sensor and opto folks, and I am sure they are going to be very busy.
I can only hope that recession does not affect the attendance for these shows.
Lightfair
Lightfair International will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City from May 5 to 7 (www.lightfair.com).
EDS
EDS will take place in Las Vegas from May 12 to 14 (www.edsc.org).
SID
The SID International Symposium, Seminar and Exhibition, now in its 47th year, will take place at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, San Antonio, TX, from May 31 to June 5, 2009.
IMS 2009
The 2009 International Microwave Symposium will take place this year at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center from June 7 to 12. (www.ims2009.org)
Sensors Expo
Also in June the Sensors Expo will be held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL, from June 8 to 10 (www.sensorsexpo.com).
